[Technical] Custom notebook layouts with drag-and-drop — seeking business cofounder

Built a web app that lets you create custom notebook page layouts by dragging and dropping graphical widgets — grids, dot patterns, lined sections, habit trackers, calendars. Then print on demand or export PDF.

The product is 80% done on the frontend. No backend yet. Haven't found PMF.

Use cases I think are interesting: - Custom educational materials (teachers designing worksheets) - Bullet journal community (massive and underserved) - Corporate branded notebooks

I need someone who can help figure out: who exactly is the customer, how do we reach them, and should this be SaaS or a standalone app?

I actually used to sell printable planners on Etsy as a side hustle and made $2k/month. The market is real. The problem with your tool is discovery — nobody googles "custom notebook layout editor." They google "2026 planner printable" or "habit tracker PDF." Your GTM should be: create beautiful templates with your tool, sell them on Etsy/Gumroad, then upsell the tool itself. Let the templates be the top of funnel.

The bullet journal community is RABID. Go on r/bulletjournal — 500k members who spend hours designing layouts by hand. If you can save them time while keeping the creative control, you have a product. Monetization: freemium SaaS. Free to design, pay to export high-res PDF or to print. The print-on-demand angle has real margins if you partner with a printer.

80% frontend done, no backend, no PMF. Before you find a cofounder, find 5 people who will pay $10/month for this. If you can't, a cofounder won't help. Put up a landing page with 3 example templates, a "buy for $5" button, and post it in bullet journal Facebook groups. If 20 people buy in a week, you have something. If zero buy, no cofounder in the world saves this.
